Founded in 1913 Old Patesians RFC proudly maintain the ethics and standards of all that is good in the game of rugby football.
Despite our amateur status the last decade has seen great success for the club at all levels, whilst at no time losing the ethos of a community club where all are welcome.
If you are either a player or supporter who enjoys the game of rugby please come and visit us at Everest Road where you will be most welcome.
The Old Patesians now have an online shop, managed by kit providers Acadamy Sport, shop is available using the link below.

Welcome from the Junior Chairman
Success for our junior players at the Old Patesians RFC is very important to us. We want every one of our 400 young players to enjoy their rugby and feel that they have succeeded in achieving their best in this great game. We believe that by focusing on developing the players as individuals, success as a team will come. Full message here.

1st XIII vs Gloucester Warriors - Away
Old Pats rugby league, second match away vs Gloucester Warriors. KO at 2:30pm.
2nd XV vs Tewkesbury 1st XV - 01/05/13
The 2nd XV surged to a thumping 45 - 20 victory at the Prince Of Wales Stadium in the Senior Combination Cup Final to complete a club double. Their hearty opponents, Tewkesbury, took advantage of our slow start and ran in two quick tries. Thereafter, a total team performance enabled the Pats to control the game, build an unassailable lead and, in the process, entertained a noisy crowd. Tewkesbury stuck to their task in a feisty manner but the Pats remained unrattled and went through the phases to score tries at frequent intervals. Dan Burrows, Bryce White, Matt Mudway, Heath Gunter and Duncan Spurrier each scored a try whilst Josh Bailey picked up a brace.
3rd XV vs Cheltenham Saracens 2nd XV - 24/04/2013
The Old Pats 3rd XV brought home the Junior Combination Cup following a deserved and disciplined 19-9 win against Cheltenham Saracens 2nd XV. This was sweet revenge, in a repeat of last year's final, built on a solid and determined defence. The heavyweight Saracens pack dominated the early exchanges but they quickly ran out of steam and the wormanlike Pats forwards gradually eked out more and more ball for their speedy and elusive backs. The Pats mean defence only conceded three penalty goal scores whilst collecting three tries themselves. The pick of the tries came from a turnover on the halfway line and a direct surge, with several offloads, resulted in a score under the posts for captain Lex Read. Well done to all involved.
The 2nd XV hope to complete a cup double against Tewkesbury 1st XV in our final match of the season on Wednesday 1st May. Kick off 7.00pm at the Prince of Wales Stadium. Let's give them all the support we can.
Centenary LINC
The Centenary Committee handed over a cheque for £1000 to the Director of LINC, Dr. Gill Rouse, before the 1st XV match last Saturday. Collections, donations and gate receipts from the Centenary matches enabled us to support this worthy local charity in our Centenary Season and the money will be used to help finance a bladder scanner.
