Founded in 1913 Old Patesians RFC proudly maintain the ethics and standards of all that is good in the game of rugby football.

Despite our amateur status the last decade has seen great success for the club at all levels, whilst at no time losing the ethos of a community club where all are welcome.

If you are either a player or supporter who enjoys the game of rugby please come and visit us at Everest Road where you will be most welcome.

Welcome from the Junior Chairman

Success for our junior players at the Old Patesians RFC is very important to us. We want every one of our 400 young players to enjoy their rugby and feel that they have succeeded in achieving their best in this great game. We believe that by focusing on developing the players as individuals, success as a team will come. Full message here.

New Coaching Annoncement

Old Patesians are pleased to announce that they have secured 2 outstanding coaches to drive the Old Pats forward both on and off the pitch. Both coaches have fantastic pedigrees both as players and coaches and will bring fresh ideas and a new challenge to the whole club. Full report here.

Rugby League

Old Pats Rugby League were crowned West of England champions last weekend, with a dominant victory. Throughout the season they have shown real promise, with most players having never played rugby league before. Taking both the league crown and the grand final championship final in an enthatic 96-12 victory agains last years champions Oxford Cavelliers.

Big thanks to the coahcing staff and players for all of their efforts, here's to next season!

Old Patesians RFC return from their 10 day tour of Texas with two wins from two matches. San Antonio were dispatched 58-12 and Austin Blacks, Texas state champions, gave tough opposition going down 37-17. “A great end to the season and a springboard to the next.” Full report here.

Centenary LINC

The Centenary Committee handed over a cheque for 1000 to the Director of LINC, Dr. Gill Rouse, before the 1st XV match last Saturday. Collections, donations and gate receipts from the Centenary matches enabled us to support this worthy local charity in our Centenary Season and the money will be used to help finance a bladder scanner.
