Old Patesians RFC Junior Academy.
A note from the Chairman - Season 2012-13
Success for our junior players at the Old Patesians RFC is very important to us. We want every one of our 400 young players to enjoy their rugby and feel that they have succeeded in achieving their best in this great game. We believe that by focusing on developing the players as individuals, success as a team will come.
We are a club that welcomes new players of all abilities, catering for children aged 4-7 with tag rugby to children aged 8-18 with competitive, contact rugby. Sunday mornings are a hive of activity at our home ground in Everest Road and at the Cheltenham College School.
The behaviour of players, coaches and parents will define the status and perception of the Old Pats RFC, so we have agreed a set of words with clear associated behaviours, that inspire consistency in approach across each age group.
The words that we expect all associated with the Juniors to embrace, are:
Inspirational, Fair, Supportive, Energetic, Imaginative, Reflective, Disciplined, Successful
They describe our ethos and provide the foundations for an ambitious club, determined to succeed with every child.
I hope that every player, coach, supporter, sponsor and visitor enjoys their experience of Old Patesians rugby.

Sherbornes Solicitors LLP is a niche employment and industrial relations legal practice widely regarded as the premier employment law practice in the region. This is clear from the number of other solicitors practices that use the services of Sherbornes. The firm was set up by ex trade union solicitor Darren Sherborne and now has 4 dedicated lawyers chiefly advising employers. Sherborne was recognised for his national reputation by his appointment to ACAS in 2008 as an Arbitrator.
Known for a “no nonsense” approach to employment law, Sherbornes advise employers and senior employees about how to achieve their aims, and unlike some other practices, do not simply outline what a business cannot do. Sherbornes understand that employment law is not what a business is there for, it’s usually a distraction which needs resolving as swiftly and cheaply as possible in order for the business to go back to making money.
Services include on going advisory work, Employment Tribunals, High Court work, changing terms and conditions, contracts of employment, directors service agreements, compromise agreements, injunctions, trade union negotiations and specialising in the removal of directors.
