A beautiful morning for rugby and great to be out on the road again as we took half of our squad down to Stroud RFC.

Handling availability between two concurrent fixtures, 1hr apart, with Covid still an issue is a logistical challenge to say the least, but we fielded two wonderful teams who really held their own against the opposition, despite not being familiar in playing with each other on a regular basis.

Some of the best tackling and stalwart defending you could wish to see, combined with pace and great handling was a joy to watch.

Of four matches we weren’t victorious overall, that said the second game was cut short and we had the upper hand in some areas.

As ever, proud of our lads coming together and putting up a great fight against competent opposition.
