Pats consolidated their position at the top of Counties 3 Gloucestershire North cruising to their third successive win of the season, running in 7 tries to 2 at Everest Road.
It was a scrappy error strewn start with neither side gaining the upper hand but after 30 minutes powerful tight head prop Charlie Maker drove over following a penalty on the visitors 22 for a try converted by Sam Rhymes.
Within moments it was Rhymes who fielded a poor goal line drop out with a break committing tacklers to link with Archie Long putting Pats centre in for their second converted by Rhymes as half time approached. Bredon enterprise in opening minutes of the second half saw huge pressure on their defence from Josh Lawrence and when Pats winger intercepted on halfway he outpaced the visitors down the right wing before stepping inside to dap down between the posts for an outstanding individual try converted by Rhymes.
The Everest Road men were rampant sweeping the ball from left to right taking the game out of sight with a bonus point try following a series of pick and drives with Jack Harvey featuring well and finding Rhymes who put Maker in for his brace converted by Rhymes.
A huge 50-22 kick from Laurence set up a line out drive for Damien Dinwiddy’s first try of the season notching up Pat’s 5th try and it was huge pressure from unstoppable Maker that put Pats 14 in for his brace.
The visitors responded with a converted try from out wide but when the inspirational Max Folkard broke from a maul it was Maker again on hand who crashed over to claim his hat trick and a well-deserved man of the match as the final whistle blew
