12 players from our 3 teams were chosen at random to attend the Dean Close rugby camp.  These players have been tasked with teaching the rest of the squad everything they learned at the camp.  The camp was a very well organised event and we would like to thank Dean Close for inviting us.

We as coaches had a good opportunity to help develop the boys understanding of the under 11s rules.  They played really well today as a team and made good decisions in attack and defence.  Their confidence in the breakdown when defending produced some excellent turn overs, and many long runs were made in possession which resulted in multiple trys.

Possession throughout all of the games was mostly held by Old Pats and well within the oppositions half.  They were excellent under pressure which showed in how well they all performed and resulted in them winning every game.

Although this was a training/coaching day, playing and winning against some strong teams was excellent for morale and confidence.  Well done to all.
