I joined the Pats in 1990 aged 33 following our family Exodus from London. I continued playing until 2013 (Texas centenary tour) and during that time I played every position except scrum half (I never could pass) from 2nd XV down to the 6ths.

Following that, I have been running the line ever since, and really appreciated all the continual help I get from players (both theirs and ours) informing me where the ball was in relation to the line. I became secretary when Matt Cape was still in short trousers and have continued ever since

In my time, I have seen the Pats rise from the local Gloucester leagues to national status, and have made many friends on the way. I have loved being part of the club throughout this period and look forward to more of the same.
