Old Pats RFC Committee

Background

The current Old Pats RFC Committee was created in 2022 to oversee the leadership and management of Old Pats RFC in accordance with RFU club governance best practice, legal and financial best practice, and to uphold our ethos.

The purpose of the Committee is to continue to embed democratic decision-making processes so that:

1)    all stakeholders are fully represented, and

2)    the club is properly governed, is fit for purpose, and is prosperous for future generations.

Relationship with the PSSC

Committee members James Luxton and Gareth Morris also sit on the board of the PSSC.

James and Gareth are empowered by the Old Pats RFC committee to engage with the PSSC committee to seek a mutually beneficial working relationship

Governance

Club officials are kept fully informed regarding rugby financial management, including income and the allocation of funds for key expenditures such as the maintenance of our home pitches, rental of our junior pitches, kit purchases and skills training.

Committee meetings are fully minuted by the Club Secretary.

Annual accounts will be prepared by the Club Treasurer and will be publicly filed and available to club members upon request.
