We welcomed Gordon League for our first home fixture of the year. They weren’t as blessed with numbers as we are, so once we’d lent them a couple of players, the first half of the match was played in great spirits, with some strong rugby from all. Great handling on both sides, and good to see these young guys getting to grips with the new challenges of rucks and scrums. The second half of the session, we mixed all players together, and played on. Always good to have players alongside team mates they don’t know – it’s a great way of cementing those skills and playing systems regardless of the personalities involved. All in all, a great way to spend a morning!
