Match Report
What a game!

A rather damp Sunday morning failed to hinder the ambitions of both the Cheltenham and Old Patesian’s U12 teams.
Every second of the four twenty minute matches was played at an extremely high tempo, with excellent tackling, rucking, offloads and evasive running on show from both teams. The quality of defending and support play meant that multiple phases of play were very common and as the game progressed the one thing missing from the match was tries, but not because of a lack of skill or ambition.
By the time the final whistle was blown only 5 tries had been scored, with Cheltenham edging the game by 3 tries to 2. It is safe to say that both teams (and the referee) were exhausted but during the huddle formed by both teams it was obvious everyone was pleased to have been involved in such an exciting and entertaining match!
So entertaining was the match that calls have been made to book Kingsholm and charge entry for the return fixture.
