Founded in 1841, it was the first of the great Victorian public schools. Independent Schools Inspectorate Inspection 2023 found Cheltenham College excellent in all areas. The report stated, “The school wholeheartedly fulfils its aim to equip pupils to lead purposeful and fulfilling lives by providing

Cheltenham College and Old Pats have created a strong partnership throughout the years. With Old Pats being located a short distance away from the main campus at Cheltenham College, some College pupils play at the local club outside of their school sports. We are delighted to continue to welcome Old Pats into College to use the facilities, and are looking forward to continuing our relationship with the club.
