Dursley RFC hosted us for the second of their age group festivals this year. Really brilliantly organised, a great setup, and they brought the sunshine! Old Pats U10s put together three teams of 13 or so players, 37 in total, all in mixed ability squads rotating teams of 8 with subs. We played some local clubs we knew, and some we didn’t, but the quality and physicality of the competition was stiff.

A great deal of stamina, character and team-work was on show in this great exhibition of young rugby. There was no holding back! We played a total of 10 matches or so, and went undefeated for the day – but some fine margins! What a great day.
