From the first whistle it was obvious that the Spartans squad were clearly in the mood and some quick slick handling and excellent rucking meant they ran in a number of tries in the first quarter of play.

This dominance continued throughout the match and though the Berry Hill boys never gave up and showed real guts throughout, the Spartans squad were to strong and technically more astute than their opponents.

A good spread of try scorers in the Spartans team was pleasing to see with tries from Josh, Michael, Theo, Seb, Jack, Patrick, Felix, Harry Sheer and Herbie.

Excellent set up play by Tom at scrum half and from Harry Southgate and Logan throughout the morning meant that the Spartans squad put in one of their best performances to date.

A mention must also go to the Berry Hill lads who scored a try in the 2nd Quarter which was celebrated by both sides and showed that despite being up against it, they were still giving 100%.
